A Periodic Inspection has advantages, most notably:

  • Reducing down-time and lost man-hours caused by equipment breakdowns by  scheduling repairs at your convenience, rather than dealing with emergency repairs.

  • Detecting potentially hazardous conditions.

  • Reducing the costs of repairs by correcting defects early on, before equipment is seriously damaged.

  • Uncovering dangerous conditions which are not evident to your personnel.

We can provide (at no charge) a video emphasizing safe operation

to show your crane operators during our inspection.

You will be furnished a Report for each Crane with the following Cover Sheet

 Your Company

  Street Address

  City, State, Zip code

Enclosed are our Inspection Reports as mandated by OSHA Regulation 1910.179 for your

š Hoists    š Cranes    š Monorails dated                  .  These reports reflect the conditions at the

time of inspection.  Conditions can change drastically with a single misuse!   Therefore,

your operators should be trained to visually inspect the equipment before they operate it.  If your

operators are not properly trained or need to be updated, we would be glad to provide

 Overhead Crane Training.

The training will include lecture, enhanced with videos, followed by a test to help you determine the

level of competence of your operators.

Please be advised that this Inspection made no evaluation of the Design, Engineering and

 Installation of your System.

Please examine the reports carefully and note that items emphasized with color require your attention and action as follows:

Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not corrected, will result in death or serious injury. This signal word is limited to the most extreme situations.

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which,  if not

corrected, could result in death or serious injury.

    Yellow     CAUTION

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which,  if not

corrected, may result in minor or moderate injury.

    Blue     NOTICE

Indicates a potential situation which, if not corrected, could or will result in equipment damage.

Please contact the undersigned with any question or concerns you may have regarding these reports.

                                                                          Truly yours,
